Having fun, helping in the community

We take on a many practical projects around Romsey and enjoy working for the benefit of the community.  We’ve made planters, fixed shelves, decorated rooms, repaired play equipment and built outdoor kitchens - all for local organisations that help the young, old and families in different ways.  Please         for some of our recent community projects.  We also help at the Mayor’s picnic, the relay marathon, the carnival and many other community events.

RepairSHED

On the last Saturday of the month between 10 and 12, we hold our RepairSHED.  Anyone is welcome to bring in small items - electrical, toys, tools for sharpening, furniture, and bicycles - and we will see if we can repair them in return for a small donation. Our aim is to extend the life of things that might otherwise be thrown away.

So far around 150 people have brought in about 200 items - and we have succeeded in repairing 85% of them. Please note that items are brought in at owners' risk. If we can't repair an item on the spot, we'll attempt to do it later in the week and let you know by phone if we've been able to fix it and give you collection details.  No need to book, just drop in

You'll find us at the Romsey School Romsey School just off Greatbridge Road (SO51 8ZB). Look out for the signs, we're just to the left of the main school gates behind the old Caretaker's House.   There is plenty of parking space.

Any questions please email us at romseymensshed@gmail.com.
